Adeoye Temitope Introduces Multipurpose NFC Wristbands and Stickers for Emergency Response, Events, Schools, Hospitals, and More
In today’s increasingly connected world, the ability to quickly identify individuals, access emergency information, verify identities, and manage attendance efficiently remains a major challenge across multiple sectors. From large religious gatherings and public events to hospitals, schools, government institutions, and corporate organizations, fragmented identification systems often lead to duplication, higher operational costs, delays in emergency response, and general administrative inefficiencies.
To address these challenges, Adeoye Temitope, founder of the Kaci Help Mobile App (Know, Act, Care, Inform), has announced a multipurpose Near Field Communication (NFC) chip known as the Smart Identity and Safety Chip. The solution is a wristband and sticker system designed to integrate identity verification, emergency contact access, healthcare support, attendance management, and access control into a single smart and reusable device.
Powered by the Kaci Help ecosystem, including FactCheck Initiative and IDC Platforms, the chip links directly to a user’s unique Kaci Security Number (KSN). Users simply download the Kaci Help from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, register with their phone number, verify via OTP, upload a profile image, complete their personal information, and add emergency contacts or guardians. Once registration is completed, a unique KSN is automatically generated. Users can then order their preferred wristband or sticker from a nearest partner outlet or via the Kaci Help Shop platform at kaci.help/shop. Their details are then programmed into the Kaci NFC wristband or sticker instantly or shipped directly to them.
When scanned with an NFC-enabled smartphone, the chip instantly opens a secure profile displaying approved information such as the user’s name, photo, phone number, address, blood group, agency name, emergency contacts, and other essential badges and details required for identification or emergency response.
According to Temitope, the solution was designed to replace multiple disconnected identification systems with one unified platform.
“Many systems today handle identity, healthcare, events, and emergency contacts separately. We built a single solution that is secure, reusable, and practical for both individuals and organizations,” he said.
The Smart Identity and Safety Chip is designed for multiple sectors. Religious organizations can use it for attendance tracking and access control during conferences, conventions, and events, eliminating the need for repeated wristband production. Healthcare providers and HMOs can use it to identify patients, access medical data, and improve emergency response, especially when patients cannot communicate.
Government and security agencies can deploy the chip for personnel identification, visitor management, and emergency operations. Schools and universities can use it for student identification, attendance monitoring, and safety during campus activities. Corporate organizations can also adopt it for staff identification, access control, and workplace safety.
It is equally useful for events such as concerts, festivals, exhibitions, and sporting competitions, where it can manage ticket validation, VIP access, and attendance tracking through a single reusable credential.
Organizations can also request customized versions with branding, making the solution adaptable across different industries. Interested organizations can reach out to our support teams for inquiries, customization, and partnership opportunities.
Temitope emphasized that the innovation aligns with Kaci Help’s mission of improving access to assistance and simplifying safety systems.
“The goal is not just identification. It is to make verification faster, improve emergency response, reduce duplication, and help organizations serve people better,” he said.
The Smart Identity and Safety Chip works alongside existing Kaci Help features including Emergency Alerts, TravelSafe, Ambulance Requests, iReport, InfoBank, and the KSN system.
Available through the Kaci Help platform, the solution aims to modernize identity management while improving safety, efficiency, and response in critical situations.
“Kaci is about making help accessible when it matters most,” Temitope added.
