4.1 Kaci offers users access to publicly available information to promote awareness, verify internet content, and take informed actions. Through its mobile application and WhatsApp interface, Kaci enables users to stay informed, track climate-related data, and connect with emergency support. Additionally, Kaci can alert pre-saved dependents (emergency contacts) instantly during emergencies or when users activate the TravelSafe feature.
4.2 Kaci is available free of charge, with select premium or subscription-based services available via the mobile app and WhatsApp. Users may opt in for additional features as they are rolled out.
4.3 Kaci is designed to provide information and supportive tools only. It does not claim to be a licensed emergency response provider, security expert, or medical authority. While the services offered are built to support emergency situations, the decision to act on the information provided, including but not limited to requesting an ambulance or initiating consultations, is solely at the discretion of the user.
4.4 Kaci does not generate new or private information. All data, news, and alerts shared through the platform are curated from already publicly accessible sources or are user-submitted.
4.5 Medical Responsibility Disclaimer: If users encounter medical emergencies after interacting with Kaci, whether through health-related alerts, consultations, or symptom-checkers, the choice to request an ambulance or contact healthcare providers lies entirely with the user. Kaci does not replace professional healthcare advice or diagnosis.
4.6 Kaci is not a prediction-based app. It does not offer betting tips, weather forecasts, or AI-generated future projections.
4.7 The Kaci Chatbot operates exclusively via WhatsApp. Kaci is not currently functional on Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, or other platforms. An active internet connection is required for it to function effectively on WhatsApp.
4.8 Kaci Services Overview
Kaci offers a suite of services designed for personal and community well-being, including but not limited to the following:
• Emergency
Allows users to send emergency alerts to their saved contacts. Kaci automatically notifies registered dependents with location and incident details.
• Consultation
Users can reach out for emotional or general consultation via the Kaci platform. This service is designed to offer a listening ear, direct users to appropriate mental health resources, or escalate to emergency response when required. It is not a replacement for professional therapy but may serve as a first step toward it.
• TravelSafe
Enables users to share live travel details with loved ones. Kaci tracks journey progress and automatically alerts emergency contacts if the user signals distress or fails to check in as scheduled. This tool is particularly useful in urban commutes, intercity travel, and during transit through high-risk zones.
• Ambulance
Through the app, users can request ambulance services. Kaci facilitates the request process but is not responsible for delays, availability, or service quality of the responding ambulance provider.
• iReport
Enables users to report verified or witnessed community issues (e.g., crime, road blockage, harassment) to appropriate authorities or community groups. This promotes shared vigilance and communal problem-solving.
• Suggestion
Users may submit ideas, feedback, and suggestions that improve the platform or bring attention to overlooked issues. This service ensures the app evolves in line with real-world needs.
• Climate
Allows users to track their carbon usage, understand their impact, and access tips on reducing their environmental footprint. While not a live CO₂ sensor, Kaci uses estimations based on travel activity, energy use, and other behaviors logged in-app.
• InfoBank
A curated resource hub that provides users with articles, helplines, policies, public service updates, health info, and more. Urban users benefit from region-specific guides, while all users can access national and global insights.
• Beeps (Public & Anonymous)
Kaci’s Beeps feature allows users to share thoughts, observations, suggestions, experiences, warnings, or general posts with the Kaci community. These posts can be made publicly with your name or identity or anonymously, depending on your preference. Whether named or unnamed, Beeps are meant to create safer, more informed, and emotionally aware communities.
Guidelines for Beep Usage:
-All Beeps must adhere to Kaci’s community guidelines, which strictly prohibit the spread of false information, -hate speech, incitement, harassment, or any form of abuse.
-Beeps must not defame, threaten, or infringe upon the privacy or rights of others.
-Users are encouraged to use the Anonymous Beep feature responsibly and truthfully. Anonymity does not remove accountability.
-For privacy and safety reasons, Anonymous Beeps cannot be searched directly through the Beep Search feature. They will appear only within general community feeds or alerts. This measure protects the identity and security of users who choose to remain anonymous, while still allowing their messages to contribute to community awareness.
Moderation and Enforcement:
-All Beeps public or anonymous are subject to moderation, both by automated systems and human reviewers.
-Repeated violations, trolling, false reports, or harmful content may lead to:
Shadow Banning: Your content may no longer be visible to other users without notification to you.
Temporary Suspension: You may be blocked from posting or interacting on the platform for a set period.
Permanent Ban: In cases of repeated, malicious, or highly inappropriate behavior, your account can be permanently removed from the app.
Reporting and Accountability:
-Users can report inappropriate or harmful Beeps. Kaci will investigate all flagged content.
-Even when using anonymous Beep mode, Kaci retains the right to track violations back to the originating account for enforcement purposes.
-The Beeps feature is designed to amplify genuine voices while protecting vulnerable users. Abuse of this tool undermines the purpose of Kaci and will not be tolerated.
• Alerts and Messages
Important messages, public safety alerts, and service reminders are sent via in-app notifications, WhatsApp messages, or SMS.
• Email, SMS, and WhatsApp Notifications to Dependents
During Emergencies and TravelSafe activations, Kaci automatically sends critical updates, including user location and status, to the user’s listed dependents via SMS, email, or WhatsApp.
• Kaci Verify Hub (Strict Access)
The Kaci Verify Hub provides a secure environment for verified users and authorized agencies to search, view, and confirm user information. It can be accessed through the Kaci Help app under the “Profile” section by selecting “Verify Hub,” or via the following links: https://www.kaci.help/verify, or https://verify.kacihelp.com.
Users log in using their registered phone number and password, while agencies use their email and password. Only registered users and verified agencies can view, download, or confirm Kaci Security Number (KSN) details and search records.
Upon login, users can view and download their Kaci Help Card (KHC), which includes their Profile Image, KSN, Full Name, Phone Number, Email, Agency, Guardian Details, Country, Location, Address, Medication Details, Date of Birth, Blood Group, and QR Code.
Users or Agencies may search for other users by KSN only when a valid reason is selected from the approved Kaci Help Search Reasons Dropdown, which includes:
- Accident Victim: Unconscious
- Accident Victim: Conscious
- Robbery or Assault Victim
- Kidnapping/Abduction Case
- Missing Person Verification
- HMO Coverage Verification
- Medical Emergency: Chronic Condition
- Medical Emergency: Trauma/Injury
- TravelSafe Incident/Roadside Emergency
- Routine Patient Registration/Treatment Verification
- Security/Law Enforcement Verification
- Disaster/Mass Casualty Response
- Personal / Family Information
All searches must be made only when important, relevant, and necessary, and must strictly align with the selected reason. Unauthorized, curiosity-driven, or repeated searches without just cause constitute a violation of user privacy and may result in suspension or permanent restriction of access.
When a search is made:
–Users can view limited information of other users, such as Profile Image, KSN, Full Name (with verification badges), Agency, Blood Group, and Guardian Details.
–Verified agency accounts with strict privileges can search for users, by KSN, Phone Number, Name, or Reason, and may access full user details including Profile Image, Full Name (with verification badges), Country, Location, Address, Agency, Guardian Details, Medication Details, Date of Birth, and Blood Group.
-All searches are logged for security purposes. Kaci Administrator reserves the right to monitor search activity, contact users or agencies for verification, and suspend or permanently restrict access in cases of misuse or suspicious activity.
-Kaci Help fully complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and the regulations of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), as well as international standards under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal data processed through the Verify Hub is encrypted, stored securely, and accessed only under lawful and ethical conditions.
-Kaci Help does not share or sell user data to any third party. All access logs, including search reasons and timestamps, are recorded and monitored to ensure accountability. Persistent violations or abuse may lead to immediate suspension or permanent banning of access to the Verify Hub.
